Fleetwood Mac - “Silver Springs” (Rumours B-side)
Jenny is a huge Stevie Nicks fan. I personally have never cared much for Fleetwood Mac, however she forced me to listen to this song the other day and I hated it. Then it got stuck in my head. Then found the chords and worked it out on the guitar and it sounded REALLY good. Lyrically, it’s exactly the kind of bitter fuck-you sentiment that I love. “You’ll never get away from the sound of the woman that loves you.” There’s something really badass about that, and it’s given me a new respect for Ms. Nicks.
